During a summer full of training and competitions in 2023, I kept experiencing back pain that left me unable to perform. With options limited and feeling pessimistic about what I could find, I did what any reasonable person would do - figure out a solution that works. Two years and countless iterations later, the PiLON was created. 

I was already familiar with the existing recovery tools and knew they lacked the versatility to meet my needs.

The cost of frequent appointments with massage and physical therapists, combined with regular travel for work and competition, made regular treatments impractical. I recognized the need for an affordable and versatile solution for deep tissue recovery wherever I was. My goal was to create a product that was not only extremely effective but also accessible to anyone and did not require complicated directions to use.
